One of the larger non-DOD builds of recent years is the FBI virtual casefile system – and it is not done yet. Originally launched as a waterfall-like process, the agency switched to agile methods when it took over from the first integrator (following delay and budget questions.) Information Week reports that the anticipated January rollout was pushed back to later this year when a system test failed (and pretty badly, by accounts.)
