Will’s column this morning gives several classic examples of ways big and small that government chills our fundamental freedom of speech in America. In order to really infringe, of course, we need computers. Our majors should pause to reflect for a few moments just how much more leverage government gets with technology. Citizens get leverage from technology too, but in equal measure?
