The ACLU has filed suit against the feds for the government’s failure to release records under FOIA. At issue are records having to do with drone attacks specifically against US citizens. The ACLU makes the (correct) observation that records seem to be released freely when the feds seek to make a convenient political point, but the same sorts of records are not made available to citizens intent on giving an independent look at the whole record.
