Big box stores continue the trend of stacking the deck against people who wish to make returns of products purchased previously. Once these stores have your money they want to keep your money … but if they can’t have that, then they can throttle how much you do shop there and make a few bucks back by harvesting your personal information. They scan your drivers license in order to bar returns for 90 days, retaining your info in a database which, by the way, is available for them to share too. For a price.
