Add to the list of ways Big Brother watches everything we do: certain radioactive isotopes used in medical imaging triggered a traffic stop of the patient on the highway. Never mind that there is nothing illegal about individual possession of small amounts of such materials. Wonder what would have happened had he not carried a letter from his doctor?
These are more consequences of an industry eager to tell government what to buy, based on what is good for industry. What industry is that? Security theater.
