The feds will soon be seeding sensitive documents with intentional misinformation so as to enable tracking of those data should they be leaked. Tom Clancy of course wrote about this technique in his fiction more than a decade ago, and what a shame that the MSM writes about it today, so as to give potential leakers a heads up to ensure they are judicious in what they take. It isn’t hard to defeat this technique if you’re alerted to what’s going on.
Of course, some might argue that the feds have been pumping out low quality information for years without regard to where it goes…
