Information scanned from your driver’s license as part of a check of minimum age requirements appears on receipts at restaurants and stores in Virginia. It is partially masked, which is how officials justify its printing on receipts which may be casually tossed by the unwary, but nevertheless contains data which could contribute to a potential identity profile and used against the owner.
