Google protects privacy – its own

As part of a settlement with the FTC, Google allowed an independent firm to audit its privacy practices, but has opposed release of that report to the public. In response to FOIA requests, a redacted version has been released, leaving out many of the details one might use to gain insight on what Google actually does with data about you and your accounts.
