Petraeus affair brings more attention to lack of privacy in cyber space

The circumstances still sound like an unfolding Clancy novel, but how the data – emails, files and more – were acquired by investigators is a more mundane topic. Investigators just accessed it, as it remains highly available to the government and now will be kept virtually forever.
