Speaking openly of China’s theft of intellectual property can be bad for business, as was found by a company called Solid Oak Software in California. It suffered years of incessant internet and cyber attacks as a result, without much concern from the US federal authorities ostensibly responsible for investigating and stopping cyber crime. Apparently, they only do that when the criminal is not China.
