Report: DHS cites medical records in denying entry to Canadian traveler

“A Toronto woman is shocked after she was denied entry into the U.S. because she had been hospitalized for clinical depression.”

While Ontario officials assert that US officials have no access to medical records of our friends to the north, it becomes more difficult to discount this article as just more Patriot Act scaremongering because agents (apparently) gave her documents which both cited their authorities to deny her entrance to the US (that part of the law does exist) and referred to her prior hospitalization (for mental health reasons, a factor which would put her in-scope of that law.)
