A nice roll-up of school surveillance topics reminds us of many ways that today’s ‘owned generation’ won’t be able to opt-out of whatever policies a government might promote in the future. That data genie is out of the bottle, more so for today’s kids than for any other generation.
This article reminds us how today information is not harvested to help students do better in school, but rather students go to school to help us harvest information – and for uses nobody yet can dream.
