Commentary on the role of science and technology in government policy making today tells how people who call the shots in today’s administration presume great things from us. Fortunately for us, they do so without checking, because nobody could make what the administration promises, but unfortunately for society, a big part of the rest of the country believes what bureaucrats tell we can do. They believe government makes magic.
